This is really funny….assuming you are familiar with Google’s latest “privacy issue” related to their Buzz launch. The Onion does a great job with this spoof.

Alternative iPhone Podcast Player
Posted by Kevin in Technology on March 1, 2010
I have a 40 minute commute to work so I listen to a lot of podcasts on my way to/from work. I’ve been moving more and more of my software to the cloud. One major annoyance I’ve had was the need to hook up my iPhone to my PC and then need to use iTunes to download and manage my podcast subscriptions. I’ve tried downloading podcasts from my phone, but you can’t manage the subscriptions from the phone (at least as far as I can tell).
I recently ran across the RSS Player Pro ($0.99) which allows you to subscribe to podcasts on the phone and then download them over EDGE, 3G or Wi-Fi. It will even notify you via push notification when new episodes are available (up to 5 subscriptions). I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now and I really like it. Much easier to check and download new episodes, and not need for iTunes….all you need is the RSS feed URL.
Here’s a link if you want more information.
