Google Voice now available…kind of

This is a VERY cool (free) service from Google that might help simplify how you handle multiple phone numbers.  Just click on the “Get an Invite” link at the bottom of the page to request access to the service.  Also, be sure to check out the list of features.

Now this would be a major bummer!!

You know, I work with technology every day, and realize that we’ve all come to rely on it….but a little common sense goes a long way.  Relying solely on GPS coordinates, without any additional re-validation that you have the right location before destroying a house is ridiculous.  Heck my various GPS devices have led me to the wrong location multiple times.  The technology is good at getting you very close to where you need to go, but it’s far from exact (at least in my experience).

I am sure this one will lead to a law suit….which I fully believe is justified in this particular situation.

Taxpayers sport for $7 million monkeyless monkey exhibit

Isn’t it fun spending other peoples money…..$7.4 million of it.  I especially like that they spent $4,500 for a feng shui expert to “tweak” the final design.  You know I hear feng shui is big….huge in the golden monkey community.

My iPhone app recommendations

With the latest release of the iPhone 3.0 operating system, the phone is finally getting the additional features that should have been in the 2.x version of the phone (i.e. cut/copy/paste, stereo bluetooth, MMS, better notifications, etc).

Well, I’m just happy that the device finally is supporting these (and other) features. For those who are just now converting over to the iPhone, I thought I would offer up my recommended list of iPhone applications.  I hope that you find them beneficial….feel free to comment and add other apps I have have missed.
